The Global Marketing and Communication (GMC) Group leads Synopsys' strategy and execution for elevating the company brand and external communications, driving awareness for Synopsys products & solutions, and contributing to revenue growth through data-driven marketing programs.


We are seeking a Strategic Marketing Principal. This role reports to the Executive Director of Strategic Marketing and will be instrumental in creating strategic messaging and content for key technology and solution areas.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the executive director of strategic marketing and CMO, the role includes:
  • Creation of strategy and framework to develop technology and solutions thought leadership platforms.
  • Partnering with executive stakeholders to develop thought leadership content, including keynote presentations, blogs, byline articles, etc.
  • Providing guidance to product and solutions marketing team to refine audience personas.
  • Identifying and building key technical content that will form the basis for awareness and demand generation campaigns as well as enabling sales teams with their sales motions. This includes eBooks, white papers, and other content formats.
  • Being the technical expert that reviews and approves content generated by the Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in EE/Comp. Sci. /Engineering required. A degree in business or marketing would be considered in conjunction with comprehensive, directly relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally with Electronic Design Automation (EDA); or experience in the systems design industry. Experience with at least one of these industries is a must-have requirement.
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing/management, 10+ preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to craft impactful narratives and translate complex technical information into content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills - ability to craft and deliver key messages though powerful visual storytelling.
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong program management skills and excellent cross-functional collaborator

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $173,000-$259,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses. The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
