Department Information

LMC supports undergraduate degrees in Literature, Media, and Communication and Computational Media, and graduate degrees in Digital Media, Human-Computer Interaction, and Global Media and Cultures, and successful candidates will be expected to contribute to these programs. Job Summary

Oversee administrative and logistical support to assigned degreed and/or non-degreed academic program offerings of an Institute academic unit. Facilitate the various actions required to successfully offer and conduct academic programs. These actions may range from student recruitment and retention to program development. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: academic administrators, faculty members, prospective students, enrolled students. This position typically will advise and counsel: prospects, students. This position will supervise: May supervise academic advising and administrative staff members.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Coordinate the application process through response to prospect inquires, scheduling interviews, maintaining applicant records, etc.
Job Duty 2 - Oversee student recruitment/program promotional event preparation.
Job Duty 3 - Supervise/provide advice for students and prospective students regarding assigned program offerings and academic progress.
Job Duty 4 - Prepare and disseminate communications materials regarding programs.
Job Duty 5 - Develop and administer program budget.
Job Duty 6 - Prepare reports related to program performance.
Job Duty 7 - Review program processes and procedures, recommend modifications as appropriate.
Job Duty 8 - May plan and supervise daily staff work activities.
Job Duty 9 - Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Academic Affairs, Business Management, Education or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
US citizen or permanent resident

Required Experience
Five to six years of job related experience

Proposed Salary

The proposed salary for this role is $53,687 - $73,016.

SKILLS
This job requires knowledge and skills related to educational program management and administration; supervision , customer service, oral and written communications; organization; multi-tasking; maintaining accounting records; and, use of basic and specialized computer applications.
