Overview

The Content Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive awareness, demand, retention, loyalty and positive customer behavior. This role will have responsibility to deliver contextual, optimized and highly engaging content across the customer journey, spanning both inbound and outbound marketing efforts. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for TierPoint thought leadership & evangelism, content & editorial functions responsible for developing the overall story of TierPoint and bringing it to life through events, awareness and demand gen campaigns.

The Content Marketing Manager will be tasked with producing amazing content, measuring its effectiveness and delivering business value in the form of inbound demand, increased awareness and revenue contribution. This position will collaborate with key areas of business including Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Lead/Demand Gen, PR, Brand, Field and Events, Sales, Channel and Partners, Product Management, Executive Suite, and others to help define both the brand story and the story as interpreted by the customer.

Responsibilities
    Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
  • Ability to anticipate thoughts like a customer and an analyst/journalist/blogger to ensure the content and storytelling is fresh and captures attention while reinforcing the perception of TierPoint as an innovative market leader.
  • Develop market facing content in the form of industry point of view brochures, solution briefs, customer presentations, infographics, videos, & blogs.
  • Ensure all content is engaging, on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, mobile, video, print and in-person.
  • Map out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and why.
  • Conduct research to identify relevant content topics and emerging trends, utilizing data-driven insights to inform content ideation and development processes
  • Develop and maintain a functional thought leadership and content calendar throughout marketing (and beyond) and defining the owners in each business area.
  • Conceptualize and create industry solution content and customer success stories that properly target and position TierPoint in go to market activities.
  • Explore new and more effective ways to leverage TierPoint's value proposition & positioning across industries to generate more TierPoint sales and marketing leads and closed deals via content creation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of experience in a content strategy, marketing communications, or a related field.
  • High level of familiarity with information technology and/or cloud computing.
  • Fundamental understanding of content marketing and/or product marketing tactics, processes, and responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in SEO strategies and techniques to increase organic traffic and improve search rankings
  • Facilitate and champion communication between organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field.
  • Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Proficiently manage end-to-end content projects, collaborating closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of various content types
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience particularly in the data center industry
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret content performance metrics, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize content performance, experience around Google Analytics preferred.
