Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety First: Prioritize the health and safety of yourself and others by diligently applying the PROS method in all operational activities.
  • Emergency Response: Engage proficiently in both non-emergency and emergency response operations encompassing both non-hazardous and hazardous substances.  Be readily available for 24/7 emergency response duties, including after-hours and weekend shifts.
  • Versatile Work: Demonstrate adaptability by proficiently executing labor-intensive tasks across various environments, including confined spaces and adverse weather conditions.
  • Equipment Operation: Skillfully operate a diverse range of light and heavy equipment, ensuring meticulous adherence to maintenance and safety protocols at all times. Experience with operating a vacuum truck is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating commercial vehicles requiring a CDL. A Class B CDL is mandatory, while a Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements is preferred.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, or demonstrate a willingness to obtain certification if not already possessed.
  • Legal Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, verified through the E-Verify system.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of working in confined spaces, proficient in respirator usage, and able to routinely lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, a keen ability to interpret and execute instructions accurately, and a demonstrated proficiency in environmental work and heavy equipment operation.
