Job Overview

As an Accounting Intern, you will be responsible for accounts payable (AP) functions. You will also support the team through copying, scanning, and filing activities. Additional responsibilities include supporting accounting projects and tasks.

A Day In The Life
  • Match invoices to receiving documents
  • Post AP invoices into computer system (Syteline)
  • Verify/reconcile vendor statements
  • Answer vendor inquiries
  • Accrue appropriate sales tax
  • Work with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve AP matters
  • Reconcile vouchers payable
  • Maintain filing system
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Previous office experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP software (SyteLine preferred)
  • Good communication skills

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
