Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting applications and data usage within the college and delivering solutions developed by the OIT Applications Team to the academic staff units of the college. This position will be involved in collaborating with end-users and identifying technologies to meet needs for new and existing product functionality, participating in developing system functional design, and assisting in producing user documentation and guides associated with supported applications.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
  • Experience in cloud base computing, including bolt on applications.
    • Web Development.
    • CRM technologies.
    • Programming experience including but not limited to R, SQL, Apex, Java, Python, HTML, CSS.
    • Technical document writing.
    • Troubleshoot errors.
    • Project management.
    • Survey-based tools.
    • Reporting tools.
    • Access and security provisioning.
  • Utilize computer technology for all applications in a manner which meets performance expectations.
  • Communicate with clients which may not be technically inclined.
  • Organize and consistently focus on a large amount of detail and come to appropriate conclusions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
  • Coordinate team and client activities and concerns.
  • Understanding data security models for services and resource access methodology.

Provide user support and problem resolutions for business process applications
* Create and maintain documentation for existing application solutions and business processes.
* Identify common usage questions and create training materials to meet the needs of both end users and support staff.
* Provide or identify resources for appropriate End-User training on the use of supported applications.

* Develop a broad understanding of the college's business processes in order to independently gather client needs, perform business process analysis and then represent end-user groups throughout the design and implementation process.
* Gather customer needs and metrics for developing BPMN documentation.
* Maintain critical processes involving college and program admissions.
