At Atlanta Head & Neck Associates, our specially trained head and neck surgeons,Dr. John SongandDr. Gregory Ward, are dedicated to providing superior surgical care.

We are part of the Head & Neck Program at the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) which is one of the largest and most respected providers of comprehensive cancer care in the country. This allows you, the patient, to benefit from the combined expertise of our network of cancer specialists and gain access to groundbreaking clinical trials.

Patient care is delivered through an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to head and neck cancer. For you this means all of your cancer specialists including your surgeon, radiation oncologist, medical oncologist and multiple other specialists work together to provide the most comprehensive and individually tailored treatment plan. Our goal is to provide you with the most up-to-date treatment options with an emphasis in preserving your quality of life.

Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.

REQUIRED

  1. A college degree as a Physician's Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
  1. Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.

PREFERRED

Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the main focus of the role
