Hours: Mon-Thur 7am-4pm Fri 7am-1pm

*This position will inolve more administrative & clerical tasks than clinical duties*

Practice Details

At Internal Medicine Specialists of Roswell, we specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and management of illnesses in adult patients. Our board-certified physician,Megan Bowles, MD, offers comprehensive, patient-centered care for acute and chronic illnesses, thorough annual exams, and preventative care for the early diagnosis and treatment of medical problems before other complications arise. We seek to educate our patients to take part in a shared medical decision process and make them an active participant in their care, and coordinate with specialists to provide a comprehensive and team-based approach to patient care.

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician. Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

REQUIRED

  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
  • Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
  • If employed at North Georgia Diagnostic Clinic, RMA or CMA must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

PREFERRED

  • Certified as Medical Assistant.
