Summary of This Role

This role involves providing functional support for a client facing analytics application. You will be responsible for configuring user access, monitoring and running jobs, and working with clients to resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires someone who is very detail oriented with good customer relation skills.

What Part Will You Play?
  • Engage with developers, clients and other teams to provide functional support of IBM Cognos such as configuring access, monitoring jobs and troubleshooting issues.

  • Participate in system upgrades and outage activities

  • Research issues impacting users of the system and implement solutions when appropriate

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Relevant Experience or Degree in: Degree in a related field and/or the equivalent in training and experience

  • Typically Minimum 2 Years relevant experience supporting TSYS Analytics Clients

  • Experience providing functional application support

  • Detail oriented

  • 2-3 years experience Structured Query Language (SQL)

  • 2-3 years experience BI tools (ie. Cognos, Tableau, QMF for Windows and QMF for Workstation)

  • Experience managing daily transmission operations and report delivery to TA Web Clients

  • 2-3 years experience supporting TA /TA Web End user Administration Setup/Product Validation/Product Upgrades

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.

  • This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can respond to critical incidents effectively and contribute to the overall stability and performance of the application environment.

  • Experience with production release processes and coordination.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Availability for on-call shifts as required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or Engineering

  • Typically Minimum 2 Years Relevant Exp

  • Experience in an analytical, research, or project management environment in the credit card or software industry

  • Mainframe experience

  • IBM Cognos Experience

  • SQL, DB2, Oracle

  • SFTP File Transmission Setup and Testing
