What will our Sales Support Specialist do?

The primary purpose of our Sales Support Specialist is to support Sales Managers. Sales Support Representative will enter orders for key accounts, track orders using excel and/or Google Docs, maintain and monitor back-orders as well as vendor directs. The role of the Sales Support Representative will include all correspondence with key accounts and will act as a liaison between the customer and Regional Sales Managers. The Sales Support Specialist will be involved in special projects, reports, sales initiatives as well as working directly with the RSM maintaining quotes and bids.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for East Coast Regional Sales Managers, particularly for assistance with key accounts.
  • Effectively maintain orders for 10-20 key accounts
  • Consistently monitor delivery and tracking through Excel and/or Google Docs.
  • Clearly identify and report low inventory for the key customers..
  • Communicate back-orders, order issues, discrepancies to both the customer and RSM.
  • Effectively Execute all orders from start to finish. All orders must be entered the day they are received.
  • Correspond with Sales Center Managers for order inquiries as well as inventory levels and back-orders.
  • Identify and work with RSM on areas where the distribution flow is not running smoothly.
  • Multi-tasking skills are essential
  • Pest Control Distribution knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
  • Must be able to complete projects within set time-lines.
  • Listening skills are essential

  • Action oriented and self-motivated
  • Work well under pressure
  • Prioritize work without direct supervision
  • Special Projects collaboration within the Sales Team

What do you need?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of Customer Service and Administrative experience in a multi-unit organization
  • This job is a remote position and occasionally may require travel.
  • Travel by Car and Airplane up to 5% of the time depending on geographic location.
  • Experience supporting different districts/areas of the business at once. - Preferred
  • Experience working with large amounts of data. - Preferred
  • Experience with presenting data to the Leadership team. - Preferred
  • Experience managing large projects. - Preferred
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner on all people related decisions.
  • Thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and superior customer service.
  • Ability to work independently setting own priorities and objectives with leadership support.
  • Skilled at focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines and achieving desired results.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws, regulations and requirements related to HR including EEO, LOAs, ADA, Wage & Hour and others state and/or local regulations.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
