Job Description

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Sales Enablement Specialist for its Atlanta, GA Location. The function of this role is to enhance our sales support in several ways. First, by creating high quality sales enablement material. We are looking for a candidate with industry-related experience and the ability to translate a technical topic into compelling messaging for sales and their prospects. Second by ensuring that our proposal content is clear and articulates our value in an on-brand way. Additionally, this role will contribute to creating a sales culture that celebrates success with their efforts at highlighting wins.

You'll work as part of our Hitachi Energy Enterprise Software Sales Operations team, which serves companies in asset-intensive industries such as energy, utilities, transportation, oil and gas, and mining. These industries share a unique set of challenges that must be addressed to increase their operational performance, reliability, and profitability. The ESS Sales Operations is a global team, supporting enterprise software sales executives across the world.

Your Responsibility:

  • Content development and coordination. Translate product writeups from Product Management to:
  • Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
  • Customer-centric sales enablement materials taking buyer personas and target industries into account
  • Proposal response material with value-driven messaging that speaks to both the technical and business stakeholders
  • Materials that support efforts to grow Partner Channel engagements (i.e. differentiated, clear and customer-centric value and messaging)
  • Training or supportive content for Business Development Rep projects or lead campaigns
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on GTM and Sales readiness efforts as product enhancements or launches approach.
  • Identify potential customer references or Whitepaper 'leads' through direct collaboration with the sales team; assist Product Marketing with the coordination and development efforts required to release Whitepaper or similar customer facing material
  • Drive a culture that celebrates sales successes by highlighting (internally) sales wins and calling out best practices
  • Optimize quality of sales development training material (product and processes)
  • Assist with onboarding new sales reps (globally)
  • Coordinate and host recurring sales trainings leveraging product and presales experts to develop the sales teams ability to identify opportunities and accurately scope the solution match
  • Project manage various sales operations initiatives as requested (such as process improvement)

Challenges:

Requires ability to understand customers environment and wordsmith our enablement materials to reflect these insights and position our portfolio as the right software partner. It requires the ability to work cross functionally and pull pieces of information together into a cohesive story that reflects our brand voice. The role requires the ability to support a global team with different cultures and create strong internal relationships. They will need to be proactive and motivated to help make our team deliver leading sales enablement and operational support

Your Background:

  • Marketing, Product Marketing or Sales enablement experience
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
  • Strong writing skills, experience in a content-heavy role
  • Understanding of relevant market trends, technical products, and solutions
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously with a track record of project completion
  • 5-7 years experience with Sales Enablement or Product Marketing
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
