Georgia-Pacific is seeking a motivated and organized E&I Planner to join our dynamic team. As an E&I Planner, you will play a critical role in developing detailed Job Hazard Analysis documentation, planning, and scheduling maintenance jobs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization. Our Team

The Brunswick Cellulose facility is one of the largest integrated fluff pulp mills in the country with a modern woodyard, fiberline, three paper machines, waste treatment plant, and utilities operations. The Brunswick Cellulose Mill, located in the southeast corner of Georgia is within minutes of downtown Brunswick and about an hour from Jacksonville, FL to the south and Savannah, GA to the north.


What You Will Do

  • Develop detailed Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) documentation to ensure safe work execution and compliance with company procedures.
  • Apply Georgia-Pacific's Asset Maintenance Work Process and Planning & Scheduling process to effectively plan and schedule maintenance jobs.
  • Conduct field walk downs to accurately scope out all components required for successful job execution.
  • Utilize planning tools to determine the necessary parts, materials, rental equipment, and contractor support for each job.
  • Develop Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMPs) and validate procedures through field validation.
  • Complete contract requisitions for contracted work and process payment authorizations upon job completion.
  • Collaborate with Operations Team members to develop a prioritized and resource-loaded schedule that optimizes internal resources.
  • Provide support during maintenance shutdown days and annual outages, assisting mill maintenance crews and contractors.
  • Update information in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including Bills of Materials and specifications for ordering.
  • Ensure Work Orders are accurate, meaningful, and capture valid historical data in the CMMS, including estimated time and cost for work packages.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in an E&I planning role within in an industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or military environment.
  • Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (i.e. 4site, SAP, Passport, etc.).
  • Experience with adhering to safety and regulatory compliance requirements.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience in pulp and paper industry.
  • Experience in an E&I maintenance supervisor or reliability role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project
