This entry-level role is designed to train you in the manufacturing processes of aircraft, offering a unique opportunity to work within a team environment under direct supervision.

Ideal Candidate:

• Should have experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or machining environments.

• Must be a great problem solver and a self-starter.

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and skilled at data entry.

• Interested in an entry-level role in Aerospace composite manufacturing.

Essential Functions:

• Perform fitting of detail parts and basic drilling and riveting operations using basic mechanic hand tools (pneumatic drills, rivet gun, countersinks, reamers, and files).

• Ensure all parts and work content meet the instructions provided by assigned manufacturing employees or Quality Control Inspectors.

• Learn to read work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine the sequence of operations and work requirements.

• Align and assemble parts to be riveted using holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners.

• Gradually become familiar with parts and assemblies, increasing independence as experience is gained.

Requirements:

• Ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math.

• Capable of reading and comprehending basic documents and instructions.

• Possesses essential personal skills such as hands-on craftwork aptitude, a professional attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with others and meet demanding schedules.

• Demonstrates good housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.

• Proficient in using personal computer-based software.

• Must be available to work any shift and lift objects up to 40 pounds.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.

• Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program is advantageous.

• Essential communication skills needed include the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, and listening and computer keyboard skills.

Pay Details: $19.29 per hour
