ENERCON's Energy Group (EG) provides engineering support to industrial facilities, traditional fossil and hydropower generation facilities, and alternative, renewable, and sustainable power generation facilities, such as solar or alternative fuels. EG focuses on green energy solutions that achieve large-scale production with minimal environmental impacts.

Due to our continued growth, our Energy Group is seeking a Senior Structural Designer for preferably our Kennesaw, GA or Tampa, FL office.

Maintain working knowledge of structural design & drafting standards and programs
• Modify and create P&IDs
• Create 3D Models for the purpose of creating 2D drawings
• Modify and create General arrangements (Equipment layouts)
• Modify and create orthographic layouts (Plans, Sections & Details)
• Modify and Generate Isometric drawings
• Perform field walkdowns and sketches
• Coordinating with engineering and project management staff for the design and drafting group, assisting on creating project budgets, reviewing scopes of work, and developing schedules to drive project execution
• Independently perform technical work for design concept interpretation and Lead development of drawings or other deliverables as needed
• May provide technical guidance, leadership, and manage workloads of other team members

• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years in structural design OR Associates degree (or equivalent) and 4+ or more years of relevant experience
• Strong design or drafting experience in AutoCAD 3D modeling with Plant 3D software
• Be able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to travel between 10-20% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AutoDesk's BIM 360 or Collaborate environment
• Navisworks Software
• Autodesk Recap
• Experience in the use of point clouds for the purpose of 3D Modeling
• Experience with laser scanning equipment
• Experience with Advance Steel a plus
