The USPF President will serve as the strategic leader overseeing sales, operations, and risk of premium finance and specialty lending. While aligning with company objectives, establish divisional short- and long-term goals, plans and strategies aiming to accelerate growth and minimize risk. This position will monitor trends and market conditions, maintain accurate, efficient and safe management of the portfolio, maintain client relationships and actively seek new opportunities to grow the business through client acquisition and additional lines of business. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

* Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the organization.

* Develop and implement strategies and set the overall direction of the division.

* Develop, implement and monitor adherence to credit policies and strategy.

* Leads activities related to new product development, product implementation and risk assessment, with respect to lending programs.

* Maximize portfolio growth through effective planning, development, and implementation of lending strategies.

* Review existing and new client relationships for credit quality, structure and pricing.

* Ensure overall soundness of loan portfolio, with the ability to identify and develop long term strategies that will include initiatives such as portfolio mix, growth strategies, and market penetration objectives.

* Develop and implement systems, risk controls, policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements, bank policies and targets.

* Leadership and oversight of staff development including leadership development and regular leadership meetings/coaching.

* Oversee leadership team and staff within the division.

* Meet with board of directors and bank executive team as needed to access the direction of the division and ensure it aligns with goals and policies.

* Direct the division's financial goals and objectives, including establishing and managing budgets and P&L.

* Direct staff, including organizational structure, professional development, motivation, performance evaluation, discipline, compensation, policies and procedures.

* Planning and execution of M&A transactions for the division when applicable.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

* Strong business and financial acumen

* Proven track record of achieving results

* Ability to work effectively with other disciplines and all levels of management/staff throughout the organization

* Ability to problem solve and work autonomously to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

* Detailed-oriented with excellent verbal, analytical, organizational and written skills.

* Effective communication and presentation skills.

* Remains abreast of developments in the interest rate, credit, and insurance markets.

Industry and Work Experience:

* 10+ years of financial services, risk management and insurance/premium finance experience

* 10+ years of experience overseeing a division/company in financial services/insurance industry

* Experience establishing and executing business plans centered on growth and management of a financial services division/company

Academic:

* Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance

* MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
