Job Overview

As a Site Engineer, you will be supporting one primary customer to ensure treatment chemicals and equipment are used effectively, economically, and safely. You will also assist and work alongside Service Technicians and Account Managers with the design and implementation of treatment programs. Other responsibilities include communicating with sales management on activity within the account.
  • Routine service visits and testing as required to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate reports after each service visit and distribute as required, maintain inventory record.
  • Assists with technical issues at customer sites, brings any issues to the customers attention and work with key account manager to put together a plan for corrective action; ensures the sales account manager is kept informed out outcomes and follow up.
  • Look for growth opportunities at existing customers and assist with growth opportunities at prospect accounts as required.
  • Assist with data analysis on program performance.

Major ResponsibilitiesOur ideal candidate possesses a willingness to progress through the career path and develop into a sales focused role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Must live within 45 minutes of Macon, GA or be willing to relocate.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pulp/paper or similar industries
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude and skills.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Customer focused.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
