As an Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) at CONMED, you will be responsible for providing leadership for initiatives that support talent management, performance management, new leader coaching, organizational design, change management and employee relations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure a robust and diverse, talent pipeline.
  • Succession planning for key leadership roles.
  • Developing emerging leaders and talent in the organization.
  • Driving the key principles of Engagement.
  • Partners with HR Shared Services to drive engaging benefits, processes and systems for employees and managers.
  • Participates in the recruitment, engagement, and development of HR talent across the organization.
  • Acts as a strategic business partner to the business leader. The position will design, build, and execute strategic talent objectives that drive exceptional business performance.
  • Provide support on the research, design, and development of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy.
  • Foster a talent-based culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback, and the improvement of outcomes through behaviors.
  • Identify and develop key learning programs that will drive best demonstrated practice in performance management process.
  • Partners to develop and drive aggressive talent acquisition programs, supports the onboarding process.
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management.
  • Central contact for all employee relations concerns in associated region.
  • Challenges the organizational structure and proposes changes as appropriate.
  • Substantively contributes to the development of the wider HR strategy and work closely with Human Resource Leadership to ensure cohesive and coordinated functional, global roadmap.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of related experience, including Human Resource, Performance coaching, and talent development and management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree
  • Strong coaching, influencing, presentation and process development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
  • Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.
  • Knowledgeable about how the business and organization work; knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition; is aware of how tactics work in the marketplace.
  • Fluency in financial and HR systems as well as an attention to detail and a passion for making the complex simple are key attributes.

Travel 20-40%
