About the College/Unit/Department
The Institute of Gerontology is a research institute consisting of more than 25 affiliated faculty from across the University of Georgia. The institute houses the Cognitive Aging Research and Education (CARE) Center, an interdisciplinary, interprofessional research, mentorship, and outreach space that trains students and postdoctoral fellows from a variety of disciplines to become part of the future cognitive aging workforce. The Institute also houses Innovation@CARE, with dedicated space for clinical trials in visual devices, visual function testing, office space, and space to meet with industry partners.
