Project Administrator - Administrative Assistant

S&ME is currently seeking a full-time Project Administrator - Administrative Assistant to support our Duluth, Georgia office.


What You Will Do:

As the Administrative Assistant, you play a pivotal role in efficiently managing general office tasks while serving as the welcoming presence at the office entrance. Your responsibilities extend beyond mere organization; you orchestrate office functions, turning routine activities into opportunities for team building.

  • Excelling in general office tasks and administrative duties with precision
  • Representing the organization's values as the initial point of contact for visitors
  • Boosting office morale through innovative team-building endeavors
  • Skillfully managing, tracking, and ordering office supplies
  • Implementing creative organizational strategies to enhance efficiency

As the Project Administrator, you serve as a vital support for our Project Managers. Your meticulous attention to detail aids in project preparation and resource allocation.

  • Assisting Project Managers in project preparation and reporting
  • Providing essential administrative support for effective resource allocation
  • Crafting proposals with precision and eloquence
  • Managing contracts and overseeing invoicing processes
  • Coordinating subcontractors and fleet management adeptly
  • Ensuring project team safety with vigilant oversight
  • Executing additional directed duties with efficiency and professionalism

Who You Are:

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED
  • You have an Associate degree in business or accounting, a plus
  • You have 5+ years of experience in a relevant field
  • You have advanced workable knowledge of contract terms, including hourly, lump sum, and not-to-exceed, and how they are applied and administered in the billing process
  • You can work well under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • You have intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets/excel, and accounting software
  • You have knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment
  • You have a Notary Public Certification

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience. The successful candidate must meet the requirements of the company's Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy, and Reference Check Program.
