Exxelia USA (part of Exxelia Group & HEICO Corp), a leading designer and manufacturer of high reliability passive components and precisions subsystems, seeks an individual to support the manufacturing floor with product or process issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions while learning its products and processes and supporting the engineering team. The individual who accepts this role must be an effective team player willing to work in a fast-paced results-oriented environment. (MAG)

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify and report issues that are affecting production and quality performance.
  • Track and report all issues and improvements needing action.
  • Support the engineering with updates on work instructions routings and BOM's.
  • Maintain ECN and PCN updates and report status.
  • Initiate and lead programs to reduce cost, improve quality, and reliability.
  • Aid the Quality Department in root cause analysis and corrective action.

Essential Skills Needed:

The successful individual will need to:

  • Be mechanically inclined and understand assembly processes.
  • Be hands on and able to use multiple types of equipment for testing and manufacturing.
  • Have good troubleshooting skills for daily issues in manufacturing.
  • Able to listen to people's input to understand real issues.
  • Able to identify and minimize Operator dependency in manufacturing.
  • CAD experience is desirable; knowledge of SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Required Education: Technical Degree in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA as a "US Person". (Exxelia manufactures Export Controlled Products)
  • Two (2) to Five (5) years of technical experience in an ISO or AS9100 manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to carry out technical discussions within and outside the company.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Climbing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting, sitting, feeling, and visual acuity.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
