Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our cloud-focused software company. In this position, you will report to the HR Director, Sales and will work closely with the North America Corporate Capabilities organization in the implementation of corporate policies and vision, related to Human Resources, organizational and employee development. You will be a Strategic HR Business Partner that shares responsibility for the business goals and target delivery, within a matrix organization. You will be responsible for designing and implementing plans and programs that support employee engagement. You will facilitate organizational change to align with business strategy and objectives, utilizing analytics, project management and communication skills. As an HRBP, you should be flexible, enjoy a fast-paced, ever-changing business, capable of managing multiple demands and priorities.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Strategic partnership with the Corporate Team and to support in the delivery of business goals.
  • Partner with internal customers assigned to the job holder to develop organizational capability to meet business goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to management and employees as appropriate in line with Principle Based Management (PBM) Principles. PBM is the framework for how we operate and the driver of our culture; new hires are provided in depth training on PBM.
  • Operate as a key business adviser and subject matter expert with assigned team(s) through business knowledge, relationship management and proactive interventions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand business goals and market trends and leverage this insight to recommend and influence new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
  • Act as a catalyst for change; guide and direct organizational design, development, and change management solutions. Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops and seminars as needed by the business.
  • Coach senior leaders on complex leadership and HR issues including development and talent performance and issues, which could have the potential to create a competitive advantage for the business.
  • Support the core processes that add value in talent management, employee engagement and all other HR activities (e.g. disciplinary and grievance matters)
  • Build relationships with Regional and Global HR teams as appropriate; coordinate activities with the country-specific HR teams.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience partnering and coaching senior stakeholders (a strong relationship building approach.)
  • Experience working in a global and matrixed HR environment, providing guidance and influence on Senior level/Executive leadership team members.
  • Transformation and Change Management Skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a Technology or Software business.
  • Experience working in Canada or familiarity with Canadian laws and regulations
  • Self-starter and tenacious with the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Experience in the ability to remain highly effective in changing business circumstances.
  • Experience in managing small teams.
