SUMMARY:

We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for driving excellence to oversee and lead the creation and growth of our newest manufacturing facility located in Locust Grove, Georgia.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Authentic & Strategic Leadership:

  • Be highly visible to associates and create a safe and inclusive environment that allows our employees to reach their highest potential.
  • Maintain healthy employee relations in managed business section by ensuring that policies and procedures are communicated, understood and applied in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a diverse leadership team.
  • Provide direct leadership to Value Stream and Safety Manager and influential leadership to Supply Chain Manager, Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Logistics Manager, HR Manager, IT Manager, OPD Manager, and Quality Manager
Deliver Exceptional Results:
  • Deliver performance to budget while ramping and scaling the site operations.
  • Facilitate the setting of strategic and tactical direction and projects for direct team (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, maintenance & quality) and indirect team (IT, HR, finance, OPD/engineering, Lean AMS) that provide the customer improved process/product quality, service/support and realized efficiencies.
  • Participate in development activities to maximize asset utilization and operational profit.
Think & Act Strategically:
  • Promote active/hands-on Lean tiered management approach and promote Andersen Management System (AMS) approaches to problem solving.
  • Develop and execute resource plans that include production and capacity planning, inventory management practices, integrated process and information systems, people and capital resource planning, and established long range site plans to ensure the proper balances between Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and employee engagement for multiple plant operations.
Build Organizational Capability:
  • Develop and commercialize new and enhance existing processes in support of new and on-going product development initiatives to ensure stable and capable technologies, processes, and applications.
Foster Collaboration:
  • Partner across the Andersen Enterprise to develop strategies, solutions, and implementation timelines which will enable delivery of high-quality products, on time, at a competitive cost structure in support of multiple product lines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of directly related experience
  • Minimum of a four-year degree in business, manufacturing, engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of operations and supply chain management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of application of AMS and/or Lean principles
  • Strong leadership skills including coaching, mentoring and listening.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business acumen and knowledge in budgeting, cost accounting plan/source/make/deliver analysis and strategic planning.
  • This role is required to be on-site.
  • 15% travel is required for this role.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance
