About the Role:

Are you a strategic leader with a proven track record in operations management? We're seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead our regional plant operations, safety compliance, and policy enhancements. You'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations while driving a culture of safety and excellence.

As the VP of Operations, you will seamlessly blend strategic leadership with the seamless execution of day-to-day operational activities. Your influence will extend across the development and execution of regional operations strategies, overseeing vital areas such as plant operations, safety and regulatory adherence, and policy enhancements. Moreover, your role will encompass the adept management of the capital expenditure process and budgeting. Your exceptional leadership will champion a culture steeped in safety and compliance, driving impactful programs to ensure the security and regulatory alignment of our associates and our company.

- Develop and execute regional operations strategy, encompassing plant operations, safety compliance, and policy updates.

- Oversee capital expenditure process and budgeting, driving efficient resource allocation.

- Foster a strong safety culture, implementing programs to ensure employee safety and regulatory compliance.

- Manage operation teams, cultivating engagement, collaboration, and performance through training, motivation, and issue resolution.

- Collaborate with Safety management for compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, and company SOPs.

- Optimize production schedules to meet customer needs, minimize costs, and ensure timely deliveries.

- Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to streamline processes.

- Lead by example, promoting safety and health adherence through policies and regulations.

- Utilize data insights to identify operational improvements and drive actions for enhanced performance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership in operations, preferably in the packaged gases industry.

- Strong background in developing operational strategies, managing budgets, and cultivating safety culture.

- Knowledge of federal and state regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA).

- Strategic thinker with a balance of innovative vision and tactical implementation skills.

- Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication abilities.

- Financial acumen for budget development, capital equipment decisions, and pricing strategies.

- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
