Job Description
Location: Atlanta, GA ( Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport)
Pay: $32.00-$34.00/Hr.

Lead Boiler Operator - JLL. Perform skill trade work in operating and maintaining boilers, chillers, air compressors, air dryers and associated equipment's, etc.

Duties:
Have firm understanding of fire tube and water tube boilers.
Responsible for boiler room team scheduling vacations and time off.
Have the ability to work all shift times.
Carry and be responsible for phone for job-related calls and emergencies.
Operate and monitor boiler systems to maintain proper levels of steam pressure and temperature for production processes.
Conduct regular inspections, tests, and maintenance tasks on boilers and related equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Lead a team of boiler operators, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and prevent production delays.
Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, including fuel consumption, water levels, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule repairs, upgrades, and installations as needed.
Monitor and comply with regulatory requirements, including permits, inspections, and emissions standards. Implement energy conservation initiatives and recommend efficiency improvements to reduce operational costs.
Respond promptly to emergencies, such as equipment failures or power outages, to minimize disruptions to production.
Stay informed about advancements in boiler technology, safety standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualification:
Boiler License Required.
High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
Have a valid driver's license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operation and routine maintenance of large, complex steam boilers; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
