Your opportunity

We're looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering VAVE Intern to join our VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) team onsite in Peachtree City, Georgia.

What you'll do
  • Test and evaluate light fixtures and various critical electrical/mechanical components; implement factory tests

  • Create prototypes and Proof-of-Concepts

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing

  • Compose executive summaries to communicate issues and resolutions to stakeholders

  • Write ECNs (Engineering Change Notice) to document changes to products

Your qualifications
  • A current engineering student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related (Junior or Senior preferred)

  • General electrical knowledge

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • A motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in teams

  • Able to work 40 hours per week onsite in Peachtree City, GA

This internship/co-op could lead to an at-will, full time role.

Pay Rate: $21 - $31 per hour (based on year of study and major)
