InterMetro Industries is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for our Commercial Product market. This is an outstanding opportunity in an industry leading organization! This is a true feet-on-the-street sales position. The Territory Manager is responsible for the promotion and sale of Metro brand solutions including shelving, carts and storage/transport products within the commercial products market. This includes promoting and selling Metro's products, services and solutions to new and existing dealer networks and customers by establishing contacts and developing and maintaining relationships with them.

The assigned territory includes the state of Georgia and Alabama. Our ideal candidate will reside in the Atlanta, Georgia or the surrounding area.

What you will do:

  • Sells Metro products in defined commercial product settings.
  • Maintains and increases revenues and market share within the assigned territory by developing an effective business plan to penetrate competitive accounts and dealers and drive growth within existing accounts.
  • Provides industry leading solutions to customers for their storage and transportation needs.
  • Acts to meet/exceed customer expectations by sustaining regular contact and building superior relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in healthcare at both the facility level and the IDN headquarter level and in commercial products at both the dealer and end-user level.
  • Pursues ongoing learning and training to understand assigned markets, products and brand positioning to grow revenues.
  • Demonstrates competency in the company's products and services by managing the entire sales process, presenting (oral and written) all aspects of the company products, and maintaining working knowledge of existing marketing programs.
  • Utilizes strong networking skills to gain access into new accounts.
  • Responsible for weekly submission of forecast updates and maintenance in Metro's sales management systems.
  • Arranges and participates in product demonstrations, quoting and proposal delivery and other duties as needed and assigned.
  • Utilizes, maintains and grows relationships with distribution partners.
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of the Code of Business Ethics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will bring to the table:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of one year prior sales experience
  • Understanding of sales techniques, especially probing, and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creativity, ability to "think outside the box"
  • Ability to work effectively & cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Regular attendance, travel and training is required.
  • Must be capable of providing "solutions' instead of products.
  • Comfortable making presentations and demonstrations of product to small or large groups, including professional people.
  • Proven ambition, competitive drive, integrity and work ethic
  • Autonomy (ability to work independently)
  • Physical requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience selling into a commercial setting is highly preferred
  • Four year degree is highly preferred
