SUMMARY
The Trauma Data Specialist (TDS) is responsible for overseeing all components of the Grady Memorial Hospital Trauma Registry, including data abstraction, data entry, data validation, statistical analysis, and presentation of data both internally and externally, as well as supporting process improvement for the Trauma Program. The TDS also interacts with state, regional and national regulatory agencies such as the National Trauma Data Standard (NTDS), Georgia Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma (OEMS&T) and the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) for maintenance of state designation, verification, as well as national benchmarking in accordance with the American College of Surgeons.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in a clinical, health-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in acute care environment (ED/ICU)
- Georgia Registered Nurse License.
