Under the supervision of the directing physician, manages care of athletes and the active population in the school setting
Uses preventative measures appropriately, provides standard immediate care procedures used in emergencies, clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and reconditioning
Employs appropriate assessment outcomes measures to determine effectiveness of the athletics outreach program
Determines appropriate return to sport for the active student
Management of head injuries/concussions and referrals to appropriate medical professionals to ensure optimal level of care

What you will need:
Education, Training, and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in athletic training from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) program
3-5 years' experience as a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (preferred) and must be able to work independently
Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker's compensation a plus

Certified Athletic Trainer by NATA Board of Certification
Currently licensed or eligible for a State of Georgia License in Athletic Training
Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS), which includes CPR and AED training within 30 day of hire
