Job Description

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking Warehouse Technicians who will be responsible for processing shipments and supporting mission requirements for our government client in Albany, GA. The salary range for this position is $29,120K-$32,240K/year.

Specific Duties:

  • Inspect and inventory shipments while checking serviceability and condition code.
  • Verify materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies.
  • Route materials to prescribed storage locations, as well as rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials and examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
  • Utilize computer operations to inventory management tools, check shelf life and status of materials
  • Confirm NSN and quantity of assets.
  • Record shelf-life data for each asset
  • Develop knowledge base of CBRN IPE material, including types, uses, shelf life and other criteria.
  • Assignments to other functional areas in support of mission requirements

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), in depth background check conducted.
  • Basic Computer proficiency required.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and have continuous mobility.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Ability to work in an industrial/warehouse environment daily
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, mathematical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.


Preferred Education/Qualifications:

  • Experience using handheld scanners is preferred
  • Knowledge of CBR masks and individual protection equipment
