Footwear Analyst, Founder, Saberfeet

Jessica Jensen is the mother of two children who enjoy life in Oconomowoc. Her interests are many and varied. They include: writing fiction, decluttering, organizing, and baseball. As an avid reader Jessica always has a few books going and welcomes suggestions from others. She particularly loves self help, finance, decorating, and gardening which she hopes to do more of during the summer. Her latest ambition is to complete a triathlon with her girls. You may find their family hiking at Lapham Peak, swimming in Lac La Belle, or riding our bikes down Wisconsin Avenue. Since they believe that fitness should be fun as well as rewarding, you can also find them taste testing local ice cream and custard. Frugality is another component of their lives. They try to live simply without sacrificing quality of life or a spirit of adventure. If you see them at the local Goodwill, stop by and say hi. They love expanding their group of friends.

Saberfeet provides the type of fundamental footwear education that should be available to everyone. By evaluating the bare foot, choosing the right socks, correctly measuring feet, and teaching people how to select footwear based on their individual foot shape and type, they allow more people to comfortably participate in the activities that keep them young at heart. Their goal is teach people that enhancing performance and avoiding injury are equivalents as performance depends on the ability to avoid the discomfort and injuries associated with even very minor injuries such as blisters. Each component of the footwear system must be addressed in order to maximize efficiency and reduce costly footwear mistakes.
