In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world.The Identity engineering organization builds and manages Microsoft's identity platform for all of Microsoft's cloud services and products including Azure, Microsoft 365 and Xbox. We pursue ideas that power transformational advances in security, user management, access management, identity governance, etc. Identity engineering team members have deep technical expertise, customer insights, and a clear point of view that comes from first-hand experience running very large-scale services. We are engineers, technology leaders, digital transformation change agents and customer advocates. As a member of the Entra Permissions Management team, you will build a best-in-class permission management platform, to help organizations to have comprehensive visibility and control over permissions for any identity and any resource in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience building and running mission critical cloud services. This candidate will be a technical leader who can build well architected systems and advocate software engineering best practices within the team. ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions.Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviewsDesign systems through well-defined interfaces across multiple components and code reviews,leveragingdata/telemetry to make decisions.Develop "best-in-class" engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, activelymonitoredand reusable.Improve and expose test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered.Gain a working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders to contribute to cohesive, end-to-end experiences for our users.Focus on customer/partner needs through adata drivenapproach.Troubleshoot andoptimizeautomation, reliability, andmonitoringfor Live Site.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values
