Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Management:

    Lead planning and execution of project initiatives, encompassing research, data analysis, design, and action plan implementation.
  • Manage diverse projects such as performance management, onboarding improvements, HR system transitions, Benefits Open Enrollment, salary reviews, HR process enhancements, policy updates, Learning & Development Programs, and intranet content management.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Coordinate cross-functional project planning and implementation alongside the People & Culture and HR teams.
  • Partner with various stakeholders and senior leadership to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and accountabilities.

Project Execution & Oversight:

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of action plans and project deliverables.
  • Act as the primary contact for project progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Drive change management processes during project implementation.

Process Development & Communication:

  • Design and implement special project processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, vendors, and the Communications team to ensure project success and organizational awareness.

Alignment & Compliance:

  • Ensure projects align with VHB's culture, policies, strategic goals, and objectives.
  • Adhere to federal, state, local regulations, and VHB policies in all job functions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in progressive project management roles within HR, including planning, development, analysis, and implementation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, risk, and change management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, influence, consult, and partner with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks, follow-up, and maintain project timelines.
  • Sound judgement, decision-making abilities, and discretion.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
  • Knowledge of HR functions and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, filters, VLOOKUP).
  • Familiarity with HR software is a plus.
  • This position requires skills and knowledge consistent with the experience level and job requirements.

Our location preference for this position is Raleigh, Atlanta, or Orlando however other VHB offices will be considered.
