Community Outreach to Professional/Technical Groups

The Atlanta Chapter of AAJA serves the interests of Asian-American journalists in the Southeast region, as well as the general interests of the organization. We are dedicated to encouraging fair and accurate coverage of Asian Americans, inspiring young Asian Americans to enter journalism, and helping members acquire new skills to become better reporters and leaders in their newsrooms.

The Atlanta Women’s Club is a non-profit philanthropic organization made up of professional women of all ages, races and religions who share a common goal: to work together to improve our local community, socially, physically, culturally and educationally.

Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), is a non-profit 501(c3) organization dedicated to the professional and personal development of African Americans who have an interest in Information Technology and related fields. Our aim is to mentor and develop minority youth from the "Classroom to the Boardroom."

GaREIA is a membership association of investors who adhere to the philosophy that real estate is an excellent investment for our times and actively pursue their individual investment goals using creative real estate methods. GaREIA holds to the philosophy that today’s investors can achieve their purposes and objectives with income producing real estate, so long as prudence and professional practice form the basis of their investments.

The Hospitality Education Foundation of Georgia, Inc. is the statewide link to the next generation of hospitality employees. We help more than 2000 students in 78 Georgia high schools gain opportunities to learn about careers in the hospitality industry. Students obtain valuable hotel, restaurant and food service skills through classroom training and on-the-job experience. As a 501 c (3) non-profit group supporting high school hospitality programs, ProStart and Lodging Management, we are helping to shape the future of Georgia's hospitality and food service industry today.

Our commitment as a professional organization is to advance knowledge in the theory and practice of human resources management for all levels of practitioners. This vision is accomplished by providing various forums for professional growth and development to our members which enables them to exchange & share innovative ideas and information. Our member base comprises of college students, entry level human resources practitioners, senior level human resources managers and seasoned human resources executives.

The mission of the National Black MBA Association is to assist in the "Creation of Intellectual and Economic Wealth within the African-American Community". The Atlanta Chapter was founded in 1980 with 20 charter members. The Chapter quickly established a firm foundation with Atlanta’s corporate, civic, community and educational leaders. As a result of its many achievements and commitment to excellence, community, education, leadership, and employment the Atlanta Chapter backed by these staunch supporters hosted two of the most successful national conferences in 1983 and 1993.
