The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) operates 53 electronically connected local Career Centers offering a wide range of services to both job seekers and employers. The Centers provide individuals seeking employment all the latest tools to find and keep that special job. Employers will find assistance in recruiting new employees including a national job listing network, applicant screening, and space in the centers to conduct testing and employment interviews.

The Atlanta One-Stop Center's mission is to provide quality workforce development services to Atlanta residents and the business community. The Atlanta One-Stop Center connects qualified job seekers to employers, provides comprehensive assessments for residents seeking training or jobs, offers its services and facility as "Your Only Stop" for continued workforce solutions. Workforce solutions are delivered by a consortium of training providers, One-Stop partners, educational, community and faith based organizations.

CobbWorks brings together workforce development services such as employment, training, education, and more, in a customer-friendly central location where businesses, job seekers, workers, and employers can find answers to their workforce questions. Its mission is to strengthen the competitiveness of jobseekers and businesses by promoting and providing workforce development resources, tools, and opportunities.

Career Apprenticeship Program (C.A.P.) provides job seekers with on-the-job training and employers with the ability to train the employee prior to permanent hire. During the apprentice period, the employer trains the employee in the exact manner in which the job is to be done and observes the progress. The employee, in turn, receives the necessary expertise for a successful job placement. Prior to placement, prospects receive counseling, drug testing and background checks, and job retention services to help ensure quality employee-employer placements.
