THE JOB / Account Director, Client Services (Home Improvement Client)

CLIENT SERVICES / Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

***Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position will be working in our Atlanta, GA office location at a minimum of three-days per week.***

Are you passionate about storytelling in the world of sponsorships and partnerships? This role works with College GameDay and some of the biggest names in college football to bring this best-in-class partnership to life each week. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver a season-long campaign, consumer activation, hospitality, and more. The right candidate will be able to work as part of a cohesive team and will need to engage with internal Octagon specialties, client partners, vendors, and consumers. This position requires strong team dynamic skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO

  • Leads and oversees the day-to-day of the client's College GameDay partnership
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan, produce and launch the sponsorship integrated campaign
  • Craft strategic recommendations for the sponsorship campaign that are relevant, rooted in fan behavior and aligned with brand initiatives and the client target audience
  • Lead all aspects of the relationship with our key sponsorship partner(s) including the property, talent, vendors and be the key day-to-day point of contact on behalf of the client
  • Work with external creative agency partners during planning to ensure effective deployment across the sponsorship portfolio
  • Lead delivery, management, and development of core sponsorship branding assets and on-air assets that are exclusive to sponsors
  • Build, manage, and track the program budget including monthly reports to the client
  • Oversight and management of direct reports, while also supporting career development
  • Other related duties/projects as reasonably assigned
  • Travel to broadcast locations regularly for the activation and supervision of client's programming; includes non-traditional hours, nights, and weekend

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of experience in the sponsorship and/or agency experience with prior people management experience
  • Experience in event execution with a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment, gaming, music and/or celebrity & lifestyle culture
  • A strategic problem solver with demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems optimally and independently
  • A proactive self-starter that jumps into tasks with passion regardless of how big or small
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and produce quality work within strict timelines
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours including weekend/holiday travel (30% travel in season)
  • Willingness to travel to various event sites throughout the U.S.

L5: The base range for this position is $70,000 - 85,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications
