Job Description

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director, the Sr. Compensation Consultant is responsible for supporting the organization's Global Total Rewards strategy. The Sr. Compensation Consultant plays an important role in the design, development, implementation, administration, and communication of total rewards. The successful candidate in this role should enjoy analytical work and problem-solving in a dynamic environment, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple assignments. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate across different functional global teams in a highly dynamic and matrix environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Global Reward and Recognition strategy, program, processes including consultation with clients on custom design of solutions.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and administration of organization-wide compensation plans and programs for client groups.
  • Consult with Global client groups on custom analysis needed for market competitiveness, Career Ladders with Scope information (tools for Global Clients), provide advice on recommendations to client.
  • Consultant to clients regarding annual compensation focal points (Merit, STI, etc.).
  • Complete compensation analysis associated with new job requisitions, current employees, and promotion requests by leveraging benchmark, current incumbent, and internal salary range data.
  • Review and approve offers, ensuring internal equity and pay parity.
  • Manage monthly Bonus Calcs (NA Ops Bonus, CONA Local, STIP), Quarterly Payout Approvals/Processing for NA Ops Bonus. Assess local incentive plans Globally for effectiveness and advise on comp structures and transition plans. Help to develop change management materials as needed for change initiatives.
  • Conducts critical audits of compensation data for broad-based compensation programs.
  • Develop creative methods for compiling and preparing data to management, including but not limited to designing reports and tools to use in compensation-related analytics and dashboards.
  • Assist with year-end and ongoing HRIS administration and maintenance.
  • Assist with compliance by ensuring applicable employment-related federal and state statutory requirements (regarding employee pay) are adhered to.
  • Handle employee or stakeholder queries/issues and escalate them where appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Workday experience a plus

Certificates, License & Registrations

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) a plus

Leveling Characteristics

  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative in a quickly growing and global environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, global environment, including an ability to multi-task and juggle multiple tasks both big and small.
  • Ability to be solution-oriented and help solve problems, make complex / manual processes more effective and automated and deliver creative fixes to nuanced issues.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.

$102,400.00 - $190,100.00
