POSITION TITLE: Fraud Prevention Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt


SUMMARY:
The Bank Fraud Prevention Manager will oversee loss detection and prevention staff while supporting the organization's fraud prevention procedures and efforts to safeguard company and customer assets, prevent and minimize theft, and reduce shortages and fraud.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Understand the evolvement of fraud risk and liaise with relevant functions to take appropriate actions
* Conduct regular review to ensure the fraud risk control capability and analytics processes are robust to mitigate the risk; otherwise monitor the improvement and enhancement until completion
* Analyze and document the changes of fraud landscape to ensure concerned functions are aware of the changes to take appropriate actions
* Keep track of both gross and net fraud losses and articulate the situation to concerned functions
* Coordinate and monitor the implementation of fraud control processes and incidents and provide overall coordination in all fraud related incidents
* Conduct checks on fraud mitigations to ensure it will not cause adverse customer impact or damage business growth
* Conduct ad-hoc read-across analysis to ensure sufficient fraud controls is in place

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* High school degree or equivalent required
* Prior related work experience in financial fraud prevention or analysis required
* Prior knowledge of fraud, risk & control management is preferred
* ACFE Certified Fraud Examiner Certification or ability to complete certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Ability to discuss Fraud Risks with both experts and senior management
* Ability to be assertive in the advocacy for Fraud management
* Must have sound understanding of accounting procedures and concepts, including investments and functional cost theory
* Must have sound understanding of Financial Information & Treasury Systems
* Strong Analytical Skills
* Must be able to evaluate systems and procedures, implementing efficiency enhancements

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Standing, walking, bending and stooping required
* Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
* Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
* May be asked to work supplemental hours periodically
* Limited travel required during and after business hours
