The Marketing Consultant coordinates system-wide marketing activities for the Northside Hospital Heart Institute (NHHI), which includes cardiology, vascular surgery, and cardiac surgery programs. NHHI has one of the most comprehensive cardiovascular programs in Georgia. Our team of 85 board-certified cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, and vascular surgeons - together with a team of specially trained cardiovascular advanced practice providers - deliver high quality care at more than 50 locations across metro-Atlanta and north Georgia region.

  • The marketing consultant is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive growth and improve access to care for patients.
  • Responsibilities include:
    • Develop and sustain strong lasting relationships with community physicians and practice groups.
    • Orchestrate physician relations meetings to foster a connection and educate referring providers on the value and capabilities of NHHI
    • Build a strong understanding of the market and competitive landscape
    • Assess and utilize market data to drive marketing and outreach activities
    • Promote and build awareness of NHHI
    • Nurture and create leads through regularly scheduled community activities and events
    • Collaborate with physician practice leaders and hospital leaders to promote program initiatives and comprehensive services

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare or related field or 8-10 years of relevant marketing experience.
  2. Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience in healthcare environment.
  3. Experience analyzing and evaluating effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  4. Experience with data processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Preferred:

  1. Experience developing marketing programs to meet objectives of strategic
  2. Demonstrated ability to independently perform market research to identify marketing opportunities.
  3. Experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop collateral on products/services.
  4. Knowledge of tools to communicate and share information with service line leaders and administration (marketing calendars, centralized way to view and collect strategic information with internal stakeholders, etc.)
