We are searching for a journeyman Software Developer to directly support software activities with cutting-edge technology for our DOD customer at NAWC-TSD in Orlando, FL. You will work with the newest software to integrate DoD trainers, simulators and platforms under the Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) construct utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineering Support Analyst will directly assist in the planning, integration, and support of the Next Generation Threat System into the Navy's LVC training environment. This position involves testing, managing, and data analysis of NGTS. NGTS consists of three main components: The Simulation Engine, the Battle Monitor, and the Database. NGTS has been installed at multiple Navy and Air Force sites and is currently being used and/or integrated into JSF, F/A-18 C/D/E/F, EA-18G, P-8A, B-52, and B-1 training systems. It is also integrated into the distributed exercise centers, such as the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC), the Air Combat Command's Distributed Training Center (DTC), and the Naval Aviation Distributed Training Center (NADTC) rely on NGTS to provide intelligent threats in support of large-scale exercises.
